Loud and Proud Meet Jenn, Slower Traffic Keep Right , Argyle Octopus Press Blog Graphic

She’s Loud, Proud…

…and the ringleader that started it all.
Most people know Jennifer Rosenblatt from her many commitments to the Lincoln community, but few are able to really grasp in passing the things that make Jenn tick like a well-oiled machine. We snagged a few moments of her hectic schedule to get a glimpse of the mind behind the bright red lipstick.

What is your pet peeve?

People driving slowly in the left lane of the interstate. MOVE OVER! I realize not everyone grew up driving on a freeway, but the left lane is for passing. The right lane is for cruising. So unless you are actively passing another car (which I usually am) GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!

Jenn let’s her “get-out-of-my-way” attitude bleed over into her business life too where she makes new paths and opportunities.

Tell a funny story about a time you got in trouble. How did you get out of it?

I always got in trouble and it was never funny. Except this one time in Scotland…

Jenn has been known to not “listen and follow directions” well, but that’s okay because she makes her own rules.

What is the best response you’ve gotten from someone when they find out you work at a place called “Argyle Octopus”?

My favorite is when I first picked the name and a marketing person told me it would never work because the words were too hard to spell. I’m glad Argy’s cuteness made up for people’s lack of spelling ability.

We’re glad you stuck to your guns! The world would be a lonely place without Argy.

Digital or analog?

Yes. Absolutely, yes!

Well Jenn, we aren’t quite sure what you mean by your answer but based off of your laptop bag and stacks of paper on your desk, we’re going to guess you couldn’t live without either.

What is the first thing you notice about other people?

Eyes and then smile. You can tell a lot about a person by their eyes. Are they open to new connections? Are they inquisitive? Are they closed off to other people? Twinkling eyes combined with a hearty smile tells me that is a person I want to get to know, and probably wants to get to know me, as well.

So flash Jenn a heartfelt smile with a twinkle in your eye when you meet her, because as you can see, she is worth getting to know!

If you have met Jenn before, where was it?
