Reasons To Love Bridge to Better Living

Dirt Bikes, Sharpshooting, and Entrepreneurship, Oh My!
—The not-so-hidden-anymore talents of the Bridge to Better Living team!

What does it take to be an entrepreneur? Guts, stamina, tenacity? Luckily, Mary Ann Stallings, CEO and founder of Bride to Better Living in Lincoln, Nebraska, has plenty of all three. Along with the rest of Bridge to Better Living team, Robbie Nathan and Cindy Pelan, Mary Ann is providing a unique and much-needed service.

In fact, when we asked her

“What are you most proud of”

she stated,

“Being an entrepreneur in my 60s.”

Well, Mary Ann, you’re doing it right!

But, we wanted to know more, so we asked,

“What was your first car?”

“Chevy SS 396.”

This is definitely one of the cooler answers we’ve received in response to this question.

Now, pay attention; this next one’s important! We asked Mary Ann,

“What is your pet peeve?”

“When people call me Mary!”

Seems reasonable. Don’t do it, people!

Now, most of us have that one magic song that we can’t help but belt out whenever we hear it:

“What is your favorite song to sing along to?”

“Mama Said”

You know the one (”Mama said there’d by days like this, there’d be days like this, my mama said…) Now you can thank us for having it in your head for the rest of the day. You’re welcome; it’s a fantastic song.

On a serious note, we asked,

“What is on your bucket list?”

“To visit Alaska and see the whales.”

This is a beautiful idea. I think it’s also worth noting here that one item on Cindy Pelan’s bucket list is to obtain a bucket. This seems like the most logical place to start to us, as well.
