Argyle Octopus Press Team

He knows when you’re awake, but what are you doing in those hours?

Despite the lack of snowfall, the holiday season is looming above us and your favorite octopus ladies are geared up and ready. At least, for the most part we are; there may still be a few more homemade gifts to put together and expertly adorn. We thought it would be fun to share with you how we spend our waking winter hours when we aren’t serving as your marketing experts.

…………………………………………………………….

“What is your favorite wintery activity, and do you get to do it often?”

Leyna, “Waking up early to watch the snow and knowing you don’t have to get out of your bed…so good. No, I do not get to do this often.”

We’re sorry Leyna, but you can at least sleep in even if it’s not snowing!

…………………………………………………………….

“How bananas do you go with holiday gift shopping?”

Jenn, “I like to give handmade gifts and baskets of food!”

This wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that you’re a native Floridian and the weather here is slightly more frightful, so staying inside is the warmer alternative to the mall, would it?

…………………………………………………………….

“What personal projects will you work on over the break?”

Hannah, “This year I’m going to take a stab at making tissue paper flowers. I like Leyna’s plan of learning to cook a new dish every day so I may dabble in creating edible food too.”

If you’re going to copy someone at least give them credit right? Hopefully, come January Hannah will still be allowed in the kitchen.

…………………………………………………………….

“What is your favorite thing to eat during the holidays?”

Leyna, “Hands down—dark chocolate orange. I know these are probably available somewhere year-round, but don’t tell me where! I like the wait.”

Jenn, “Latkes! With sour cream *and* applesauce.”

Hannah, “It’s a rare thing, so I love when there is a chocolate pudding pie I can demolish.”

Just in case you were thinking of getting us gifts, we wanted to make it easy for you.

…………………………………………………………….

Have yourselves a wonderful holiday break and tell us how you are going to spend yours!
